Hello
I hope this finds you happy and healthy!
When September arrives after the long warm days of summer, renewed energy fill me.
Just as January is the month of assessment and planning, September is the month of artistic renewal, exhibitions and new projects. It is also time to resume working on projects that were put on hold during the summer.
I am preparing for two exhibitions right now. After 3 years exhibiting on line only, I realized yesterday that I would actually need more than one tent if I were to display everything I would like to show.
But one thing is certain, spending time planning and manipulating my artworks gives me the desire to embark on new painting projects, to resume daily drawing, to continue exploring Procreate, and illustrating human and animal emotions and finally to finish the two books I started last year.
Here is the information for the art sale that will take place at Stewart Hall on September 10th and 11th . It is organized by the Lakeshore Association of Artists, a group of local artists I belong to and 1/3 of sales is donated to a local charity: On Rock Community services and Food bank. Our artists will present paintings in several mediums, drawings and sculptures.
The second show is organized by the Beaconsfield Artists Association and will take place on the grounds of Centennial Hall in Beaconsfield on September 17th from 1pm to 5pm. Also put together by local artists, artworks presented will be smaller. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Amcal Family Services.
I will be present at both exhibitions and am looking forward to seeing you again!
