Here are the drawings of the third week of daily drawings:
I am trying to keep it at 30 minutes but occasionally find myself swept in the moment with some of them and then realize I have been drawing and coloring for an hour. That is the gift of time I decided to offer myself in 2020. Less rush, more relaxing time and exploration.
I am mostly working with the Faber-castell polychromos and enjoy using the Gamblin as a solvent to blend the colors. I am also starting to introduce watercolours in the drawings.
I am working in a book and the paper does not absorb the pigment that well. Color pencil is a slow and precise technique. Even if I feel like rushing the drawing and I do sometimes, it is best when it is approached with a zen calm attitude.
I hope you enjoy these!
